 Heritage Days 2013

Rogersville’s historic town square and its quaint shops and historic homes provide a welcoming festival setting for Heritage Days – a traditional community celebration of Rogersville’s unique heritage. The festival showcases traditional music and dancers, special events for the children, demonstrations of pioneer skills, a quilt show, an art show and an antique farm equipment and tractor show, a juried craft show, and a food court to delight everyone! Crockett Spring Park, just off the town square, will feature a Civil War encampment and re-enactments throughout the week end.

Heritage Days 2013 will be held October 11, 12 and 13. Friday night’s activities include the costumed children’s parade, the Rogersville Main Street Antique Car Cruise-In and Cruise In Chili Cook-off held in the Hale Springs inn courtyard. Music on the square by the B Team Blues band 6-9:00 p.m.  Food Court available beginning 5:00 p.m.

Please note that craft booths and shows will not be open on Friday evening.

Saturday and Sunday are devoted to activities to please everyone, including:

  • Over 100 juried craft artists offering a wide variety of lovely hand-made items
  • Craft Demonstrations
  • Traditional Appalachian music
  • Appalachian Dancers
  • Civil War Calvary Re-enactors at Crockett Spring Park
  • Art & Photography Show
  • Quilt Show
  • Antique Farm Equipment Show on South Depot Street
  • Young’uns Yard and Children’s Activities
  • Heritage Children’s Train
  • Festival Food
  • Corn Hole Tournament on West Broadway Street - Saturday Doubles and Sunday- Singles
